About the event
The Dinagat Festival is an annual festivity during Cordova’s fiesta celebration in honor of the town’s patron saint, Señor San Roque. “Dinagat” is a visayan term that comes from the root word “dagat” which literally means “sea.” The main highlight of the festival is the dance showdown and street dancing competition. It depicts the fishing tradition and Cordovahon’s way of life.
