Gabii sa Kabilin

Patterned after Lange Nacht der Museen or Long Night of the Museums in Berlin, Germany, Gabii sa Kabilin is a cultural event organized by multiple museums and cultural institutions in a locally wherein such establishments remain open late into the night on the last Friday of May. Gabii sa Kabilin seeks to introduce new individuals into the cultural institutions. It is to encourage the public to take notice of museums not as dusty and dark places to visit but rather that museums can be fun and dynamic places of learning. Gabii sa Kabilin (𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩: 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦) or GSK is an annual event held in the month of May in support and celebration of National Heritage Month. ✨ It is the first and only event of its kind in the country and was created to help foster appreciation for Cebuano Culture and Heritage. ✨For one night, from dusk until midnight, museums and heritage sites come together to offer special tours and performances.
