Halad Inasal Festival

Halad Inasal Festival is celebrated every October 14th to 15th. It celebrates Talisay City’s historical heritage and identity promoting the city as an aqua and tourist hub, through street dancing as a thanksgiving offering to the city’s patroness, Sta. Teresa de Avila. The City of Talisay is considered as the lechon Capital of Cebu and arguably has one of the best lechon in the Philippines. Lechon is also commonly known in Cebuano as “Inasal”. The Halad Inasal Festival is celebrated during the feast of Talisay’s patron saint. Sta. Teresa de Avila. It showcases Talisay’s famous product which is the inasal as an offering to Sta. Teresa for the constant guidance and blessings she has showered the Talisaynons.
