La Torta Festival is a celebration of Argao’s most esteemed and cherished delicacy, the Torta. Made more flavorful by the Tuba, the Torta is a product of Argawanon ingenuity during the construction of the St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church in 1734 to 1788.It is a distinctive symbol of Argawanon generosity as it is offered to household guests and presented as a gift to family and friends. In reverence to St. Michael the Archangel, Argao unites to pay tribute to the Torta!
