Panagat Festival highlights the colorful culture and traditions of the town of Dauis by paying tribute to the town's way of life - fishing. Panagat comes from the local word, managat, which means going out to sea. The festival's main highlight is the streetdancing competition which showcases the steps of going to sea and catching a bountiful catch.
