PANAGBAGAT FESTIVAL

Panagbagat is a festival of union and unification. It commenmorates the purposeful meeting and peaceful agreement of the warring tribes of Tag-anito from West and the Maktang tribe from the East under the wise counsel of Panganuron. Today, the Panagbagat Festival is a creative and festive celebrating the Porohanons keen undesrstanding of the importance of unity, oneness and togetherness. It is celebrated every 30th-31st of October as a highlight of the town, honoring th Holy Mother of Rosary.
