About the event
Sinugboan Festival is celebrated every 27th of May in the Municipality of Garcia Hernandez. Sinugboan comes from the Cebuano word, "sugbo" which means to "wallow". The festival is main highlight of the town's annual commemoration of its foundation day, with several activities organized as part of the celebration such as agro-industrial fair, streetdancing competitions, and recognition of the municipality's achievers and leaders.
