Balicasag Island

Overview

Balicasag Island is a 600-meter-wide marine sanctuary off Panglao, protected since 1985 and considered one of the finest dive sites in Asia. Famous for its resident sea turtles, it also features the "Black Forest" wall dive, "Cathedral Wall," and "Diver's Haven," with jackfish, barracuda, and vibrant coral gardens. Diving is capped at 150 divers a day to protect the reef, so advance booking is required.
