About the event
Ubi Festival pays homage to the "ube" crop as the agro-historical-geographical-religious" symbol of the Province of Bohol. The festival is celebrated every second week of January when local supply is most abundant because of harvest season. Several activites are organized by the Provincial Government to celebrate this iconic crop including cooking contests, agri-business investment symposiums, agri fairs, and cultural shows to name a few.
